Featured Mission Partners: C-U Cuba Partners and Jo Ella Holman
This week, in gratitude for the warmer weather that is starting to once again come our way, we're taking a look at Cuba and the work of Rev. Jo Ella Holman.
Jo Ella has been working in missions for many years and has a special appreciation for churches in the Caribbean. You can read more about her here. She is assigned by the denomination and supported by the congregation as the Missionary Co-Worker for the Caribbean and Cuba.
In a little over a week, Jo Ella will be in the Dominican Republic and Haiti for a month. While there, she will be working with three Cuban Presbyterian Reformed Women to conduct workshops on domestic violence. She has also recently been selected as a Missionary Advisory delegate to the General Assembly meeting in Detroit this June.
On Saturday and Sunday of Mother's Day weekend, the Cuba Partners will feature her work in a visual display. This Sunday is also Music Sunday and there will be a performance of the Caribbean Mass.
